Bonus Wandering // 7.10

  • Fern Dell Nature Trail United States (map)

Hi wanderers!

On Sunday, July 10, 2022 our team has been invited to lead a wandering with the St. Stephen’s and St. Barnabas church communities. We’ll hike at Fern Dell Nature Trail.

Trailhead Address: Fern Dell Drive & Black Oak Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068

We will meet up near the bear statue at the Griffith Park entrance off Los Feliz Blvd.

This will be an easier, more accessible hike and will serve as an introduction to All Wanderers’ spirituality in nature focus. Anyone is welcome to join!

Please note: It is difficult to gauge accessibility for trails. “Easy” means different things for different people, abilities, and experience. We are a community of support and will help one another enjoy our time on trail and hike as we all feel safe, seen, and comfortable.

This trail is in Hollywood, California and is part of traditional, sacred, and unceded land of the Tongva-Gabrieleño and other Indigenous peoples. We must be mindful of the fact that this is native land. Consider what that means to you and to us as we hike. How can we best honor the land and those from whom it is stolen?

We encourage all those who live and move on indigenous lands to learn about the history of this land and to be active in responding to the deep wounds caused by colonization. We also ask all who wander with us to support the Tongva Land Conservancy and the indigenous communities who, at great cost, care and have cared for the lands on which we live and walk.

Please send an RSVP to payton.hoegh@spiritualityinnature.org so we know who to expect!
