April Wandering // 4.30

Hi wanderers!

This month we’ll be hiking Switzer Falls

Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 9:30am

Trailhead Address: Switzer Truck Trail, Angeles National Forest, Tujunga, CA 91042

The Switzer Falls Hike is described as, “a relatively easy hike into one of the loveliest sections of the San Gabriel mountains in the Angeles National Forest. The hike meanders back and across the stream running down the spectacular Arroyo Seco Canyon.”

Please note: It is difficult to gauge accessibility for trails. “Relatively easy” means different things for different people, abilities, and experience. We are a community of support and will help one another enjoy our time on trail and hike as we all feel comfortable.

This trail is in Altadena, California and is part of traditional, sacred, and unceded land of the Tongva-Gabrieleño and other Indigenous peoples. Please be mindful of the fact that this is native land. Consider what that means to you and to us as we hike. How can we best honor the land and those from whom it is stolen?

We’ll be meeting up in the parking lot (Bring an adventure pass - is is needed - and carpool if possible)!

Please send an RSVP to payton.hoegh@spiritualityinnature.org so we know who to expect!
